Edwards gives a little ("Our country and our Party are stronger because of John’s service") and takes a little " I continue to believe that this election is about the future, not the past").
We all know who the past of Democratic Presidential hopes are, at any rate. In my opinion, this was a little dig... but nothing too awful.
I like Kerry quite a bit -- he's been a champion of a lot of good causes. But I thought he was a pretty poor candidate.
So my uneducated guess as to the net effect of Kerry's endorsement? Not much, in itself. A bit positive, if anything. It might open the floodgates to other endorsements which might have more impact, though -- Gore, Ted Kennedy.
And Mike Gravel, of course. That endorsement is money in the bank, friends.
Short diary, sorry. Mostly putting JE's statement out there.
Take the poll, won't you?
