Demo Racial Discord - Did we call a Truce soon enough?

Just a little friendly, I SAID FRIENDLY CANDIDATE XYZ SUPPORTER ABOUT TO THROW A TROLL BOMB, question, did the Democratic campaigns call a Truce soon enough?

NOTE: I DID NOT ASK WHO WON

There have been tensions on this site and across the Internets and airwaves the last few days. I'll be the first to admit, I was bitter coming out of New Hampshire when I first suspected possible Bradley effect causing the late swing, but I've since put that theory to bed and now agree, it was the unseen women who went unpolled yet turned out for Hillary, which could if it continues end up being the story of 2008.

Then there was the tit-for-tat, or non-tit-for-tat, or whatever the heck that was. I think it really hit the media after Clyburn's op-ed piece in the NYT's and since then they've been all too happy to run with this hideous beast, at great threat to the future of our Democratic Party.

The point of this diary is to ask you, dKos Member, Fellow Democrat, Did They Call it Off Soon Enough?

Did any of this cause you to sway or Rethink your vote?

Conversely, did it cause you to solidify any opinions you have about your candidate?

I'm interested in how this affected your voting/perceptions, not so much in name calling, blame games, etc. Peace is peace, a truce is a truce; we won't pull out of Iraq then still drop bombs you know

(memo to Charlie Rangel, you went a bit over the line today calling Sen Obama Stupid, you best hope he loses lol...)

To end the topic, I'll let the revered Rep. Clyburn lay this puppy to bed
