“Clinton holds a slight lead in Nevada but it will all depend on organization. Nevada Democrats have no real history for us to go on, so we will have to see how powerful the unions, civil rights, and other organizations are in bringing out their constituencies. Noteworthy is the tale of Black America vs. White America. Obama leads among African Americans 81% to 16%, while Clinton leads among whites 46% to 31%. What this portends for other states we will have to wait and see.
Significantly, Clinton leads among Hispanics 51% to 27%. Clinton also leads among Moderates. The two top candidates are battling it out among union members.
“A majority of Democratic caucus voters say that they favor a candidate who represents change (53%) rather than experience (36%). Among those who cite change, Obama wins 50% to Clinton’s 29%. Among those who cite experience, Clinton receives 64% to Obama’s meager 10%.
Obama's team has again gotten outflanked by Clinton Inc in the Expectations Game. Somehow, someway the Media is convinced that Nevada is Obama's in the bag. I watched Morning Joe this morning and they discussed how the Culinary Union's victory and endorsements are giving him the edge in Nevada. Has no one heard of Chip Reid???? It's obscene that the media has gone from focusing too much on polls (New Hampshire where Obama's strength hurt him by turning I's to McCain) to not even reading them:
Obama, who has gotten a major boost from the Culinary union, also leads among union households, but by only 7 percentage points over Clinton.
Hillary Clinton has the Momentum and the Party Regulars in her corner in Nevada and should win the state walking away. Because the media is asleep at the wheel, they're all expecting Obama to win, so when he loses, it'll come as a shock to them and they'll give Hillary that much more steam, enough to possibly overtake him in S. Carolina and end this thing early.
Which brings me to my question, my poll question.
SHOULD BARACK OBAMA GET TOUGH ON HILLARY OR SHOULD HE PLAY THIS FOR VEEP?
It would not be hard to hit Hillary on Hypocrisy. He is aleady lighly Mocking Hillary's answer in the Debate
If I had gone last I would have known what the game was. I could have said, ‘Well you know, I like to help old ladies across the street. Sometimes they don’t want to be helped. It’s terrible.’
The National Polls are showing the race tightening, though some have Hillary way up. Either way, you have to give her 5-8 points nationally and 5-8 points in Nevada... she's got the lead and Obama's time to play nice is rapidly running out. If he's serious about Becoming our Next President, he'll need to start "Drawing Contrasts" and definitely get infront of Cameras more. To Hillary's Credit, I've seen her all over the media, on the evening news, on the highest rated MTP since Kerry's Loss, everywhere. She's pandering to Nevada on Yucca with lose facts about Obama's 'support' though it's not real, she's throwing red meat out there.
Possibly he's a flawed Candidate... Possibly he knows he's her VEEP if he plays nice, makes it Competitive, but in the end loses with Grace.
