Just caught a random clip flipping channels and came across campaign news on ABC 7 noon newscast. They were talking about the McCain campign going to the kitchen sink strategy, AGAIN!!! Geez, I guess when you have 9 houses, you have a lot of kitchens. Follow me below for the money shot

After breaking it down, the reporter ran through election map data.

--Obama is leading in every national poll across the board

--Obama is leading in every state John Kerry won in 2004

--Obama has flipped New Mexico and Iowa, both states won by 43 is 2004

--Obama is leading tight races in 8 key battleground states-OH, FL, NV, NC, MO, VA, CO, with polls from MO showing McCain with a slight 2 point advantage

Drumroll please...........

If Obama wins ONE, just ONE of these battleground states, he will win the election.

Maybe TeacherKen was onto something when he diaried of a possible landslide coming. I, like most thought maybe but probably not. Oh what a difference 3 weeks make. I write this diary not as a premature victory lap or debate victory, but as a shot of adrenaline as we head into the home stretch. 6 months ago, the question was "can he win?" Now the question seems to be turning to "how much will he win by"? Fellow Kossacks the answer if up to us. Get out, phonebank, schlep your folks up, so we can make this election historic not only in terms of race, but of the sheer magnitude of the landslide that can happen if we all go hard for one final month.
