You betcha bottom dollar that tomorrow, there'll be report.
Despite Palin's flip-floppin' on cooperatin' with the investigation, despite Republican efforts to drag those doggone activist judges into this thing, the report is comin'.
At 3 p.m. today, lawyers for six Republican legislators who last week lost a court case seeking to halt the legislative investigation will try to persuade the state Supreme Court to overturn Superior Court Peter Michalski's dismissal of the case.
Meg Stapleton, a local spokeswoman for the McCain-Palin campaign, said Todd Palin is answering Branchflower's questions but isn't hopeful of a fair outcome.
"Todd certainly wants to make sure that everyone knows he has nothing to hide," she said. "But Todd and the governor both feel the outcome was predetermined and prejudged back when the governor was named a vice presidential candidate."
Well Meg, where I come from, it's called fairness, just simple fairness. OK, I'd like to just really quickly mention there, too, that when you look back and you say that you'll cooperate with an investigation, and Republicans vote for it and all, and then you say it would be just all partisany, and that's not accurate.
But I guess it's so obvious I'm an Alaskan outsider. And someone just not used to the way you guys operate.
Update [2008-10-8 21:20:38 by Devilstower]: Doggone it, I meant to put this thing up on Thursday, you know. So, I blame that media filter which kept me from gettiin' to speak to you directly. And also, you might do a little mental revisin' and editin' and thinkin' "Friday" where every I said "Tomorrow."
