My wife, the amazing singer ML Parr plans to sing "Dancing in the Street" from every street corner in the locale starting when Barack Hussein Obama becomes the President Elect of these United States of America. I will accompany on guitar, kazoo, and bongos...

Watched Meet the Press yesterday in utter amazement as the perfectly reasoned and perfectly timed endorsement by Colin Powell echoed my convictions and proclaimed our next president's bonafides.
Two weeks ago my wife and her cousin got into it over said cousin's pending GOP vote casting. Turns out that she, the cuz, has an autographed copy of Sec. Powell's book and loves the guy. I hope she was watching MTP yesterday too.
BTW, what was Gov. Palin thinking as Alec Baldwin pretended to talk to Tina Fey and called the Alaska Gov, "that horrible woman"? I thought the show was totally lame this weekend, but I basked in schadenfreude (sp?) as the Gov's appearance truly sucked... Brava! Tina Fey was great again.
