I gave my second campaign contribution ever today. It was just twenty dollars, but it was for a great cause. Today (October 25th) is the sixth anniversary of the death of Paul Wellstone. I learned this only two days ago after rereading Al Franken's Lies And The Lying Liars Who Tell Them. Paul was an incomparable patriot and a great Senator and I see no better way to honor his memory than to throw the man who succeeded him an anvil while putting the final nail in his coffin.
I gave only $20 and I know times are hard, but if we can all pitch in we can get that filibuster-proof majority we all dream of.
