Whew, what a weekend! Friday night, after an extensive interview with the Altoona Mirror's editorial board and an equally extensive interview with the Blairsville Dispatch for a pre-election feature, I found out about Shuster's latest attempt to smear me. He is telling people that I want to give millionaire's solar panels for their homes. HaHaHa! Like they taught me at Camp Wellstone, "First they ignore you, then they lie about you, then you win."

Saturday, I spoke at events in Indiana, Cambria, Somerset, and Mifflin Counties. I must have put on over 400 miles yesterday.

Today, I was door knocking in Blairsville (Indiana Co.) It just happened to be trick or treat day. Not many people at their doors, but there were a lot of people in the street. It was as good a time as I have had door knocking in quite some time (and I got some candy in the process.) Door knocking while children are trick or treating is surreal.

Tonight, after putting the boys to bed, I sat down to find out that the endorsed me over Shuster! ( http://www.publicopiniononline.com/... ) Not a bad way to end a day.

Everybody, let's get some sleep and finish strong! Sorry for the short diary. I'm tired, and it's time to get some sleep.
