Zane Starkewolf, a Republican Candidate for Congress in California's 1st District, has unleashed a robocall that will make you think you've just tuned in to Playboy TV.

The robocall features a sexy female voice chiding Starkewolf's Democratic opponent Mike Thompson for supporting Bush's $700 billion bailout plan and voting in favor of the PATRIOT Act.

Starkewolf is a self-proclaimed "Green Republican" and has made clean energy a focal point of his platform.

Starkewolf has put out a message on his official website addressing this robocall:

I take the credit or the blame for the statement that went out today. The unpaid staffer who recorded and submitted the message may have been a little overly enthusiastic in the delivery, but I believe it is good to get enthusiasm back into politics.
