McCain's Latest Appellation...Coward....

So far we have seen John McCain the Naval aviator, John McCain the POW, John McCain the war hero, John McCain the maverick, John McCain the straight-talker. Now we can safely add one more descriptive title: coward. It seems that the real man in the campaign is Sarah Palin. She even refers to herself as "Joe six-pack".

Since last Saturday, Palin has been trotting around the country spewing forth lies and smears with the greatest of glee and abandon. She is literally having the time of her life. I am sure that when she used to fantasize about winning the Miss Universe title, she never imagined that that lofty goal would be supplanted by an even niftier title...President of the United States! You betcha! And she spreads this toxic verbiage without the slightest comprehension of the malevolent pot of racism she is stirring up. She is a giant Chatty Cathy doll. Just pull the string on her back and out comes all the bile and filth that has been pre-recorded by her handlers.

And the instantaneous results of her hate-mongering harangues spouted to throngs of the true-believers who still think Bush is just the best preznit evuh have been seen and heard across the country. Her campaign rallies are starting to resemble Hollywood's image of Klan rallies. The rabid responses of some in her audience are terrifying. To here such things as "terrorist" and "Kill him" shouted out and smiled down upon by her is absolutely mind-boggling. This is what Sarah means by her "America"? If it is, I want the next plane out.

And while Palin slavishly performs her role as atmospheric poisoner-in-chief, where is the titular head of the ticket? Why he's just out there staying above the fray. Making sure such ordure that is flowing in the streets doesn't muss his POW petticoats. Even when some Neanderthal at one of his own rallies called Obama a "terrorist", Senator Straight Talk would neither condone nor condemn the epithet. And when Senator "I know what war is" McCain had the opportunity to make the same accusations Palin has been making right to Obama's face he wimped out. Apparently McCain's machismo has been transfused into Palin's veins.

McCain's not going to lose simply because the economy is about to tumble into an abyss. He's also going to lose because America is seeing him as he really is...gutless
