Before hitting the interview scene in such a rough economy, Mitch might want to see a dentist:
Ah, but on a more serious note, the DSCC has smelled blood in the water and is here with advertising. I saw this ad on T.V. earlier, and found it on youtube. I LIKE it!!:
Help coral Mitch!!:

Alas, the DCCC missed an opportunity for the same ad right here in Western Kentucky. Our Congressman Ed Whitfield did the very same thing, voing to let Wall St. run wild and then taking $700,000 from them:
But there was little dissent in 1999, when Sen. Mitch McConnell and the rest of Kentucky's congressional delegation voted to deregulate Wall Street banking and investments. They — and most other members of Congress — brushed aside concerns that deregulation could create massive financial institutions that would be "too big to fail," requiring a government bailout if they started to stagger.
The Kentucky delegation went on to collect millions of dollars in combined campaign donations from the financial sector, while the banking, securities and insurance industries merged into the creature that is now collapsing and calling for government aid.
Donations from financial sector
Current members of the Kentucky congressional delegation who voted for Wall Street deregulation in 1999 and their donations from the financial sector since 1989.
Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. $4.3 million
Sen. Jim Bunning, R-Ky. $2.4 million
Rep. Ed Whitfield, R-Hopkinsville $697,116
Rep. Ron Lewis, R-Cecilia $551,266
Rep. Hal Rogers, R-Somerset $406,765

Yes, there is Exxon Eddie, just as tied to and guilty of this economic train wreck, and just as guilty of cashing in. Added to that, he has decided that his record is so difficult to face his opponent and explain to these voters, he just doesn't have too. Its not like these are trying times or anything. His opponent Heather Ryan found out just before her Press Conference yesterday that Whitfield felt he was "too good" to have to show up for a scheduled debate. I think he is just "too chicken":
Heather has her own commercial to be completed too, and needs your help to run it as many times as possible. Cable T.V. slots around here run about $6 a piece. For the price of a lottery ticket, you can take a chance on an expanded Congressional majority we need for real change. Please help here:

To the DSCC I say, welcome to Western Kentucky and Thank You!!! To the DCCC I say, PLEASE!!!
