I have previously expressed concerns about ACORN but found a criticism of them that is way over the top.
A Daily Show episode featured Bertha Lewis, the chief organizer at ACORN, being interrogated by John Oliver who was on the prowl for crack cocaine.
Oliver to Lewis: "Don't pretend you don't know what I'm going to ask you. Where's the crack?"
The crack issue was raised by another guest on the show named Matthew Vadum, who works for Capital Research Center. Ed Meese is on their board. Need I say more?
I looked it up and this assclown claims the drug claims are true.
I'm not convinced. It looks like ACORN has made some very bad hiring decisions in the past but to suggest it's a conspiracy is wingnuttery.
Why was the Daily Show dignifying this bullshit?
