A cesspool amidst the stinking sludge so perfectly indicative of the Bush Presidency?
A graveyard to remind us that the horrific policies of the Bush Presidency need to be buried, memorialized only to insure they never resurface?
On Wall Street, the boulevard of broken dreams (sorry for the hackneyed phrase), preceded by a ticker tape parade with copies of the shredded Constitution wafting through the air?
And what of the Swearing Out itself, should it be as vulgar as the worst excesses of the Bush Presidency? How is that possible? I don’t know vulgarities to match the ‘achievements’ of this gang of thieves. Should the text of the Swearing Out be a catalog of the grievous wrongs of the past eight years? Should the media and other enablers be forced to stand in the cesspool as witness, sparing us from the final indignity of this wreck of a Presidency, as they should have for the last eight years?
I was going to give you my proposed text but I tend toward those in the vulgar Swearing Out camp and don’t know all the rules for vulgarities in Diaries. So help me out.
If this comes to pass I do have one request though; I want Barbara Bush there in the cesspool, standing on an exercise ball, neck deep in cess.
