A few randomly selected TV listings:
TruTV is showing two episodes of Forensic Files.
FX has the movie "Men of Honor."
History Channel is taking a break from their WWII-based programming to show us "Extreme Trains."
Discovery Channel has been showing "Storm Chasers" for a few hours, and it continues for a few hours more.
Cartoon Network has two episodes of "Family Guy."
TV Land is showing "3rd Rock from the Sun." TV Land should not being having shows that ran during my lifetime (except The Cosby Show). It's just not right.
USA is showing "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" (my favorite L&O).
And if you happen to be into this kind of thing, Disney is showing "The Suite Life with Zack and Cody" and "Hannah Montana."
I was just watching The Daily Show's compilation of "The Bush Years: The 2000 Election" on Comedy Central's website. I got 2 minutes into it before I had to stop watching. It was just horribly depressing to think back to that election.
Anyway, I'm still looking for a place to stay in D.C. for the Inauguration, if anyone can help with that.
And my final thought to get the discussion going (not that we ever need a prompt): So, what's everyone's plans for New Year's Eve? I will most likely spend it the way I have for every NYE: watching the ball drop by myself since I'm the only one in my house that's still awake at midnight.
