What a beautiful day for a speech. Parking was hell and the line long but everyone was psyched and chants of "We want change" and "Yes we can" randomly picked up amongst the energized crowd of what Wilmington city officals are estimating of around 20,000 people. I smiled at the mix of people in the crowd - whole families, with what appeared to be many teenagers there with parents as well as grandparents. Black, White, Asian, and Latino all crowded around Rodney Square and jockeyed for position to get a view of Obama.
