To the future President Obama... Congratulations!

The writing is on the wall.

The nominee for the Democratic Party, and the next President of the United States, will be Barack Obama!

Congratulations to all who supported him. And on to the general election! It's time to put the intra-party squabbling behind us... It's time for those who said that they would refuse to vote for Obama to leave. And it's time to crush the GOP!

Hillary campaigners... you fought valiantly. Your candidate is a good woman. She could be an outstanding vice-presidential candidate, and I urge you to push for Hillary as Obama's VP. But now is the time to realize the lay of the land, just as Edwards supporters did, and rally around the clear nominee.

Today is a great night for the Democratic process and the Democratic party.

This is a great night!

(For some verification, just take a look at the way Obama closed the gap with Clinton in her firewall states, not to mention the huge lead in delegate counts!)

Onward to the general!
