"I'm doing so because I believe it's clear that the American people are hungry for change," Culver said in an interview with The Des Moines Register. "I believe they're looking for a president to push back on the special interests and I think it's also time for a fresh new approach to governing in Washington, D.C. and believe senator Obama represents this new approach."
