It's Time for Obama to go to War with the GOP

This CANNOT Stand

But I will say that the Obama camp better dispense with its standard "there's no place for this in our politics" response. They're getting killed with this kind of stuff. And if they think they can stay aloof from it until November, then he deserves the fate of Michael Dukakis and John Kerry. But they'll be lucky to make it that long. Bill Bradley showed you can be an aloof loser in the primary, too.

Barack, You told us you'd defend this ground, you'd battle to keep yourself viable on National Security, and now they're using your heredity and Middle Name to argue simply electing you would send the wrong message to the Terrorists. YOU MUST ACT VERY VERY DECISIVELY NOW ON THIS!!!

The Comments of Rep King are sickening because in all honesty, this reflects the general GOP View that Obama is a Pacifist, bent on Defeat in Iraq and of a Muslim Heritage, signaling a victory for the Muslims in the Middle East.

Obama must come out NOW with a very forceful argument encompassing the following points:

The GOP has NO Monopoly on the War on Terror; Infact they're LOSING THE WAR ON TERROR by creating more Terrorists

A Name is just that, Only a Name; Obama is a Christian and to challenge that is rediculous and beyond the Pale of Decency; he should publically denounce any elected official who would say otherwise and challenge them personally to prove otherwise.

Obama will Vigorously pursue Al Queda and Taliban Rebels both in Afganistan and Pakistan and fight the War on Terror the way it's supposed to be fought, not by going into Iraq stupidly but by going after Terrorists where they reside, not where BushCo wants you to believe they reside.

Letting these kinds of things float for 2-3 days without seriously going to War with Rep King over this shit and calling him out in Public for this crap is a huge Mistake. These perceptions will take hold as simply saying they have no place in Politics will encourage people like Sean Hannity to start parroting this topic as they will believe they've finally found a way to argue their politics of Fear and Bigotry.

Barack you often say that you trust the American people to sort through this type of Bullshit. Please, for the love of all things sacred, Go to Fucking War with the GOP Bigots who will argue that your Middle Name is a Signal of Defeat for the Terrorists. This is the Swiftboating, and they're starting it NOW. Do NOT be Aloof; running hard against this and showing fight today on this front will enable you to show fight against Hillary Clinton on the C-in-C credentials.

You're already losing this argument if Fox News is allowing these comments to stand. Show some Toughness... there may be question as to whether going negative against Clinton is smart, but make no bones about it, Rep King is definitely being allowed to make this arguement as a surrogate and you've got to quash this now or risk serious weakness into the General Election. This is the McCain Campaign by Proxy, this is what we face in the Fall... Get to Work and Go to War with the GOP NOW!
