The Board of Elections in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, is launching an investigation into illegal crossover voting in the state's 2008 presidential primary. A big question remains unanswered... will county officials go after the ringleaders of apparently illegal electioneering where thousands of Republican voters swore, under penalty of law, allegiance to the Democratic Party in order to vote for Hillary Clinton?

In case you missed it, Rush Limbaugh, the nation's top-rated talk radio host, was urging Republicans in Texas and Ohio to skip their own republican party's primary on March 4 and instead cast a vote for Hillary Clinton in order to prolong the fight between her and Barack Obama. And that Tuesday, as media in both states reported, thousands of Republicans did just what Limbaugh and others had suggested, they changed parties to vote for Clinton.

How can one possibly explain the lack of intelligence of a group of people who would proudly refer to themselves as "Dittoheads"? The fact that anyone could take a bloviating gas bag like Rush Limbaugh seriously is one of the mysteries of the age. Years from now, historians will wonder what the American people were thinking when they made this fat drug addicted douche bag the highest rated radio host of the era.

Al Franken had it right: "Rush Limbaugh is a big, fat idiot".

I heard Limbaugh unambiguously encourage his Republican listeners to cross over and vote for Hillary. His intention was obvious. Callers to his show said they had crossed over at his behest, and he expressed his satisfaction at their actions.

In a unanimous opinion in the case of Schenk v. United States, the Supreme Court upheld the criminal conviction of a man who encouraged the breaking of the law in leaflets he printed and distributed - simply a different form of mass media.

In the Court's opinion, Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. wrote, "The most stringent protection of free speech would not protect a man falsely shouting fire in a theater and causing a panic. [...] The question in every case is whether the words used are used in such circumstances and are of such a nature as to create a clear and present danger that they will bring about the substantive evils that Congress has a right to prevent."

This case is unambiguous. Rush Limbaugh repeatedly stated his intention to subvert the nomination process, and ultimately the election by affecting the selection of a Democratic nominee.

Jail Limbaugh.....at the very least revoke his right to broadcast.
