My Two-Bumper-Sticker Pledge

I am buying two bumper stickers:

One for Obama, that will go on my car.

One for Hillary, that will go in my glove compartment.

I hereby pledge that if Hillary gets the nomination, that same day, her sticker will cover Obama’s.

Can I get a Hillary supporter out there to reciprocate?

Remember that the sniping between the two candidates is spitballs compared to the barrage they both face hourly from Fox, CNN, Sinclair, Clear Channel, 91% of talk radio, and the insipid American steno-pool excuse-for-media that relentlessly resonates to the right-wing drums.

And the fact is, whichever candidate loses, the loss will be much more due to Rush and O’Reilly than due to the other candidate.

So, if Obama wins, I believe it means his inspirational message has the better chance to beat McCain—and I will give him my all.

And if Hillary wins, it means her street-fighting tactics are the more effective choice (and if that means she’s a "bastard," she will be "MY bastard")and I’m behind her all the way.

(Meanwhile, when will both candidates catch on that they are fighting over the paddles while the canoe drifts toward the falls?)

So I have made my two-bumper-sticker pledge. May I challenge all of you to do the same—and may I challenge both candidates as well.
