I am offended by Markos' latest entry entitled "Making Obama Blacker" in yet another effort to denigrate Hillary Clinton and her supporters. This is race baiting at its finest. Shame on you Markos and shame on <your> supporters who give you and your posts any credence at all when they serve to divide us as a party and as Americans. KOSacks seem to forget that our enemy in the republicans. Having a contested primary between two popular and respected democrats will only serve to make the nominee a stronger candidate in the fall.
Isn't it time to stop the split that people like Markos are effectuating upon all of us? I can understand enthusiam for Obama or Clinton...what I can't understand is all the vitriol, sarcasm and divisive rantings that this site continues to foist upon many democrats. Yes, I know that nobody here is forced to read the Daily Kos, but there is useful information that can be learned or appreciated here without dictating who should stay and who should go. We will need all democrats to elect a knew president, not just the ones who agree with your own point of view or your own choice of candidates. If any of the readers here think they are helping out Obama by posting diatribes such as "Making Obama Blacker"...they are very mistaken.
Obama and Clinton both need all democrats and as many independents as they can muster to win in the fall. It would be a shame to lose an election because so many of one side of democrats...or the other, feels so debased they decide to sit home instead of voting, thereby handing the election to McBush.
Take a long deep breath before you post. Think about what you may be doing to your own candidate by being so over zealous that you drive some of your fellow democrats into a corner that will not allow them to support our party's nominee, no matter which one it is...and please let Markos know that you don't approve of his race baiting tactics!
