Breaking: Thompson Won't Run..Damn!

Former Sen. Fred Thompson (R-TN) said he would not accept an offer from Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) to be his running mate, The Hill reports.

Said Thompson: "That's not what I want. Well...and I don't think that call [from McCain] would ever happen. I think John needs somebody else. I would advise him if he asked me that he needs someone else, of a different profile. The presidency is the only job in town that's worth going through what you got to go through to get it, including the vice presidency...."

DAMN! Old and Older '08 is not happening? No "Grumpy Old Men" ticket? Well... there's still 82 year old Ted Stevens(R-Alaska), as a possibility, he could definitely make McBush look youthful and as an added bonus, he's corrupt as hell---a republican trait.

It was so worth it that the movement of cold molasses was more noticeable than the effort exerted by his campaign.

What's McBush to do?..well there is always "Mittens" Romney..he'd be a great running mate and he can supply all the commentary for the FLDS debacle in Texas.

Maybe the "Huckster" could be McBush's running mate. He could lend even more of a "christian" perspective of how God sent a hurricane to New Orleans because of an impending Gay Pride Parade....or coach the country on how 9-11 was God's wrath for allowing abortion and Gays to freely exist. Yeah, Huckster would be great for corraling the God Squad Bushbots.

Even Carly Fiorina's name has been tossed around by the campaign as late as yesterday. That would solve the (female) problem and even insure a California landslide for McCain, because everybody loves a female exec that lays off thousands of employees and has a multitude of legal problems behind her.

So Thompson, be damned. One old, lying, uninformed mean grandpa in the race is enough. Save your Gucci's for another day!
