Just what planet is he living on? What psychopharmaceuticals is he taking? Is McBush just simply delusional? Seriously, this is a disconnect from reality of breath-taking scope...in the same manner that "W"orthless Bush is disconnected. Maybe McBush is simply following the old "W"orthless Bush adage: "Ya see, in my line of work, ya just have to keep repeating it until they believe it"!
I guess since McCain was tortured and abused during his time in Vietnam, it must seem normal to him to allow the same to happen in Iraq.
McCain is worse than delusional about Iraq. Here is an example:
This morning on CNN, the reporter Nick Robertson was embedded with US forces that were operating with Iraqi army troops that were trying to deal with some insurgent gunmen. The US commander was trying to get the Iraqi commander to send his troops in to take out the gunmen. The Iraqi's response? "I only have a small force". The US commander looked frustrated as he pointed out that the Iraqis had as many troops in this operation as the Americans did. The Iraqi commander then decided to take a lunch break. The US commander thought the Iraqis were moving against the enemy, and when they didn't see any results, he called the Iraqis, who were still at lunch. A few minutes later, the Iraqis returned with a wounded soldier, and claimed they had killed a single gunman. They seemed proud, even though they hadn't solved the problem, and there were still more gunmen firing from the same position. The poor US commander had to smile and say how proud he was of the Iraqis, when you could just see that he wanted to strangle the dumb bastard.
Is this "progress"? Is this "winning"? Is the embarrassment in Basra last week, where Iraqi troops defected or ran away en masse to join the Mahdi army "normal"? Is this what we get for billions of dollars of equipment and four years of training?
John McBush..the wrong man for President!
