In two states where US attorneys are already under fire for serious allegations of political prosecutions, seven people associated with three federal cases have experienced 10 suspicious incidents including break-ins and arson.
UPDATED with bullet points. Just take a look at some of the headers in this article:
A FIRE IN ALABAMA
THE CAR ACCIDENT
FORMER GOVERNOR'S PRIVATE RESIDENCE BURGLARIZED -- TWICE
SIEGELMAN'S ATTORNEY'S OFFICE BROKEN INTO
MISSISSIPPI SUPREME COURT JUSTICE'S HOME BROKEN INTO
And so on.
I'm going to make this diary brief, because I really can't add anything. The whole article is worth your time. And it's worth spreading the word. It contains many incidents that can't possibly be explained by coincidence--cars being forced off the road, break-ins where nothing of value was stolen. It's astonishing.
What more can anyone say? We thought we'd seen it all. We were wrong.
SOURCE UPDATE: I want to quickly give credit to the two sites where I saw this first. Alicublog and Whiskey Fire, a couple of sites well worth your attention.
