With an environment so toxic, does McCain have even a chance of winning in November?
McCain's time was 2000 and he fell short, and the GOP enjoyed its time in the 1990's and early 2000's, before people woke up in the wake of the failure that is George "W"orthless Bush and figured out that their GOP party was a bunch of "W"ar mongering, money and power grubbing "W"hores, who told people how to live their lives while they themselves were living a gross hypocrisy, procuring everything from prostitutes and hustlers to cold misgotten financial gains.
Bush and Rove did a number on McCain and he wasn't maverick enough to respond appropriately. He was more like a roped steer. A deer in the headlights who capitulated to the enemy. My bet is that not much has changed. McCain's votes over the last 6 years have indicated that he has been anything but maverick. Lately, he has flipped on everything in an effort to try to pull the republican base together. I'am unsure how he can change his stances on abortion, taxes, the economy and other subjects to gain base support then find a way to flip/flop back to the center to gain independents.
How ironic that George "W"orthless Bush won't back down on his appoinments to the FEC, and as a result, McCain can't get out from under his commitment to use federal funds (the FEC can't get a quorum that's required to make a ruling), this from the guy that took credit for co-sponsoring new campaign finance rules which was the precursor for the moderate republican exodus from McCain.
Below is an excellent link outlining all of McCain's lies with daily updates. Keep it in your arsenal!
