Now this is going to tick off a lot of people on this site and it is going to bring joy to many others. The question is...do endorsements mean anything in the real world?
Now before you Obama supporters hit your keyboards like lightening to denounce endorsements.....take a look at DKOS every day when the diaries and posts run to the forefront with titles that range from "BREAKING: SO and So Endorses Obama" and the hundreds of responses that follow with "thats great" or "thats fantastic" or "atta-boy".
And before all the supporters of Clinton run like lightening to hit your keyboards with comments like "fantastic" "brilliant" and "great"...remember all the responses to the diaries regarding endorsements of Obama with responses like "endorsements don't matter" "only votes matter" etc.
Have any of you been swayed by endorsements of newspapers, celebrities, analysts or friends? I know that I have been swayed by all. My vote did not necessarily change because of the endorsements, but some of them definitely piqued my interest enough to re-think or re-evaluate my choices. Has this been the case for any of you? Have you changed your mind because of endorsements? Has your selection ever been reinforced by endorsements?
