CQ’s Presidential Support numbers do not include votes that legislators miss - in other words, missing a vote on an issue Bush supported did not lower McCain’s score. Now, it is a well known fact that Senator McCain misses the most votes in the Senate. In fact, he was crowned the most absent Senator in 2008. Therefore, when John McCain even bothered to show up and vote in the Senate - which wasn’t often - he voted with Bush 100% of the time.
Maybe the reason that McCain does not want to be seen with "W"orthless Bush is because they are in actuality the very same person. John "W" McSame, George "W" McCain, McBush!
As if being connected at the hip with George "W"orthless Bush weren't enough, Barry Goldwater's own grandaughter, Alison Goldwater Ross states: "a rift developed between the two after McCain used Goldwater's name -- without his permission -- for fundraising purposes."
"My grandfather felt that he was deceived by McCain," she said. "Because he looked at McCain and said, here was this young guy who has a lot of potential in the Republican Party, who is coming through the ranks, and then he pulled something like this. My grandfather had to ask, 'Is this something I want to be close to?'"
Even the real republicans hate John McSame, because as everybody now knows, the real conservatives, for history's sake no doubt, from William F. Buckley, Jr, to George Will, from Ron Paul to Barry Goldwater...all despise McCain, because they now despise Bush. OK, that was a stretch, but if they all hate George "W"orthless Bush, by simple addition, they should also hate his twin, John "W"orthless McCain.
William F. Buckley had it right when he mused about McCain:
"Arizona Senator John McCain, the most widely known of the potential Republican candidates, is ``a remarkable human being,'' Buckley said. ``I don't think that his name comes to mind automatically as somebody who over a period of years has addressed problems with fruitful thinking, let alone with consistent thinking.''
Do you get it yet? Bush and McCain are the same person!
"Change We Can Deceive In"... John "W" McBush
