While right-wing blogs and pundits continue to chatter over Obama's connection to the former anti-war radical, very little has been written about G. Gordon Liddy and McCain, who appear to be much better friends. Liddy has donated $5,000 to McCain's political campaigns since 1998, sending 25 times as much money to the Arizona senator than Ayers did to Obama.
Liddy also greeted McBush as "an old friend" when hosting the candidate on his talk radio show, Chapman writes, and McCain gushed at the "pleasure" he took in appearing and praised Liddy's "adherence to the principles and philosophies that keep our nation great."
Where's all the chatter about John McBush's close friendship with the mastermind of the Watergate break-in? Ayers has never been convicted of a crime, Liddy is a convicted felon who spent 4 years in prison. McBush gets a free pass after free pass with his association with convicted felons, lobbyists and worse. Where's all the chatter about his association with Charles Keating?

It has become obvious that the media who has shown time and time again just how biased it is. Their goals supposedly, are to share information that is fair, balanced and truthful and to present (that) news with integrity and dependability. Nevertheless, what we get is a total lack of honesty, integrity, objectivity, fairness and truthful reporting. Any viewer with half a brain can easily observe the venom, spin, lies and the wreckless abandon with which they spit out their opinion. What is more annoying is that they do not care since they believe that we the viewing and reading public are "supposed" to drink their Kool Aid without questioning their authenticity, most ostensibly because that is just what the public has done. The FOX Nutwork being a prime example, as they have grown to become the most watched cable news network, and CNN, in a desperate move to retrieve their old ratings mantle is doing the same thing.
What Steve Chapman points out about McBush and his scary ties to G. Gordon Liddy, whose actions have done far more damage to America and are a far greater threat to our country and our way of life than anything Bill Ayers has ever done, is a perfect example why every thinking American, especially in this most crucial of election years, must do all they can do to make sure that either democratic candidate is elected to the presidency.
McBush's ties and relationship with Liddy are far deeper and closer than anything Obama's worst enemies have been able to find about his ties with Ayers. And McBush seems to have embraced convicted felon Liddy and his truly dangerous "thinking" far more intensely and warmly than Obama has ever done with Ayers.
Chapman writes: "Obama has been justly criticized for his ties to former Weather Underground member Bill Ayers, who in 1995 hosted a campaign event for Obama and in 2001 gave him a $200 contribution."....I'm not at all sure why Chapman thinks the scrutiny is "justified" since by all accounts, it appears that Obama had the most casual of relationships with Bill Ayers, while McBush has a close and continuing friendship with G. Gordon Liddy.
