CNN Meat Puppet doesn't know what Swiftboating is!

I a new low for meat puppetry, CNN spokes model Rick Sanchez just now said Gen. Wesley Clark "swiftboated" McCain when Clark said getting shot down does not qualify someone to be President.

(Hey! Maybe it's true! Even the little words at the bottom of the screen said so!)

I guess Sanchez missed the day in main-stream-steno-pool class when they explained that SWIFTBOATING MEANS TELLING A LIE.

Got that Sanchez? Okay, let's check. Here's the quiz:

EXAMPLE 1:: Clark stating a virtual truism, that getting shot down does not qualify one for being President. (Answer: NOT swiftboating, because it is TRUE, or else Lawnchair Larry would be running.)

EXAMPLE 2: Bush/Rove in 2000 saying John McCain betrayed his fellow prisoners in Vietnam. (Answer: YES, swiftboating, BECAUSE IT IS A LIE.)

I know it must be hard Sanchez, having to read whatever they put in front of you, but once in a while, maybe THINK.

Sorry if this is really not a diary, but why am I thinking "Clark Swiftboated McCain" is a shiny new talking point we will be seeing lots of in the next news cycle?
