Eighty-three percent think the country is on the wrong track - the highest percentage in the twenty-five years since CBS News began asking the question. Just 14 percent say things are on the right track.
Well now..let's see. I think Obama is on to something when he says that McCain would be Bush's 3rd term. 83% of Americans believe that the country is on the "W"rong track. That's a campaign slogan if ever I've heard one..."If you're one of the 17% who thinks the country is on the right track, vote for McCain/Bush, if you're one of the 83% who think the country is on the "W"rong track, vote for Obama!
WOW..how the mighty have fallen! I can still hear the words leaving Karl Roves lips on the FOX Nutwork, just about three months ago... "the President's numbers will surge towards the summer months and hover in the mid 60's"..YUP! That was a great call Karl.
Bush's legacy is cemented in history as a result of his ratings alone. He's the most hated and unpopular president in the history of the country, and he's not finished yet...there's still 6 months to go. One can only hope that Bush doesn't set his sights even lower before the Bekins truck pulls up to the back of the White House. I hope they cement the furniture down because I wouldn't want the Bush family ransacking the White House the way they have ransacked the country!
