Lieberman Drags McCain Down..AKA: Throwing Joe Off The Bus!

A new Quinnipiac poll shows Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) with a 45% approval rating, his lowest score ever.

Quinnipiac pollster Douglas Schwartz states: "Sen. Lieberman's approval rating has dropped below 50 percent for the first time in 14 years of polling, with nearly two-thirds of Democrats giving him low marks, probably because he is campaigning for Sen. John McCain."

Let's be real about this... McCain doesn't drag Lieberman down, Lieberman drags Lieberman down....and as a result, Lieberman will drag McCain down. Lieberman is a one issue McCain supporter. Everytime Lieberman goes on the stump for McCain, the voting public is reminded that McCain wants to stay bogged down in Iraq forever. Americans want the troops home. McCain and Lieberman want the troops to continue to die in Iraq needlessly and they are both willing to have them die in a new unprovoked war in Iran also....diplomacy be damned!!!

McCain definitely helps make Lieberman look worse, but I think that the people of Connecticut are finally realizing what a mistake they made in electing this two-faced disloyal dolt! There is no doubt, this will be Lieberman's last four years as a senator...45% is dangerous territory for a senior senator...

The only surprise with the findings of this poll is that Lieberman even has 45% approval!
