Pretty devastating, huh? And here's ABC news's take on it
Americans divide evenly between Barack Obama and John McCain's approaches to the war in Iraq, and rate McCain much more highly on his abilities as commander-in-chief — key reasons the unpopular war isn't working more to Obama's advantage.
Things don't look very good for Obama do they if the American people trust McCain that much more than Obama to be President. But let's look a little deeper into the that poll. What Mark Halperin and ABC News are conveniently leaving out in their reporting of this poll is that the statement wasn't "He would make a better Commander in Chief". The statement was actually this:

Get that? The statement was "Would be a better Commander in Chief OF THE MILITARY". Wow. What a difference 3 words can make. Make no mistake. This is not careless reporting. It's done with the intent to mislead readers and viewers. And no doubt it will be reported on the evening news and the Cable pundit shows without those 3 little words. I'm listing some contact info below for both Time and ABC News. Let's make some noise.
