The other day in Murray, these people were leaving a Mitch McConnell fundraiser:
This fundraiser was held in this bookstore:
So this is supposed to be a Christian store where Christian books are sold that teach Christian values? Well, let me give you a few verses from the New Testament:
Luke 19:45-48
45And He went into the temple and began to cast out those who sold therein and those who bought,
46saying unto them, "It is written, `My house is the house of prayer,' but ye have made it a den of thieves."
47And He taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy Him;
48and they could not find what they might do, for all the people were very attentive to hear Him.

Maybe Mitch and his moneychangers failed to read any of the books in that store. Of course, Mitch McConnell serves only one master, that being
Mammon.
And the New Testament states what Jesus thought about Mammon in Luke 16:13:
No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Yes, it would do Mitch McConnell very good to go back and read this Sunday School lesson:
Mark 12:41-44 41 And he sat down over against the treasury, and beheld how the multitude cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. 42 And there came a poor widow, and she cast in two mites, which make a farthing. 43 And he called unto him his disciples, and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, This poor widow cast in more than all they that are casting into the treasury: 44 for they all did cast in of their superfluity; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.

And the man that seeks to lecture us on Christian values not only holds fundraisers in bookstores that claim to be Christian, but does everything in his power to keep money IN
the political system.
So before Mitch McConnell decides to lecture me on Christian values, maybe he should pick up a Bible and see just exactly what Christian values are. It seems to me that Mitch McConnell only worships one master, and despises the other, and only wants one kind of government:
However you slice it, thats not Christian no matter what bookstore you hold your fundraiser in.
