McCain, "I Need More ZZZZ's"

You have to wonder how the McCain campaign can put out a positive spin on this! Has anybody bothered to let McCain know that being President of the United States is a 24/7 job?

John McCain Says He Needs More Sleep

McCain said he would concentrate on getting more sleep when he can.
"If I put in three or four 18-hour, 20-hour days in a row, I'm not sharp. It's just a fact," the Republican senator from Arizona said. "I'm more sharp if I get a little rest."

McCain said he feels best sleeping until 7:30 or 8 a.m., as opposed to his usual morning drill of rising at 5:30 or 6 a.m.
"It seems to help me to get up a little later in the morning," he said, joking, "Sorry to bother with that intimate detail."

Remember, McCain already doesn't work weekends. Reporters have written about McCain's light schedule are amazed at his short workload.

Isn't this just another glaring piece of evidence that it is, in fact, John McCain who isn't ready to be President? It's only August, and he is already complaining about the grueling pace of the campaign. America...wake up! We already have a president who took 1 month vacations after only 8 months on the job, as America was being warned about terrorism within our own borders. We already have a president who takes weekends off... when the weekend usually starts on Thursday with a quick heli ride to Camp David or to Mommy & Daddy's summer retreat in Maine.
Newsflash! We already have a president who has a weak workload, takes extended vacations, goes to bed at 9:00PM, hangs out in Beijing while war breaks out in Russia and Georgia...have we learned our lesson yet?

Does John McCain have a clue what's in store for the next President Of The United States? There will be many sleepless nights. John McCain doesn't function well when he's deprived of sleep, by his own admission. Is that what you want leading the country in times of crisis?

"It's 3:00 AM, and a phone in the White House is ringing."
McCain: "ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Huh? Tell 'em to call back at 8:00 when I'm sharp. ZZZZZZZZZZZZ."
