Heather Ryan at Fancy Farm: Shame on You Ed Whitfield

Saturday in Fancy Farm, Kentucky, St. Jerome's Parish held the 128th annual Fancy Picnic. Besides a great place to sample Western Kentucky Bar-B-Que, and get a tan in the sweltering heat, the Fancy Farm Picnic officially kicks off the political season in Western Kentucky. Any politician that is anyone makes it there. Past speakers of note include Vice-President Al Gore, and Wendell Ford, Kentucky's last great Senator.

With that in mind, there was no way that Heather Ryan was not going to be there, and trust me, this fiery young Redhead let none of her supporters down. Among other things, she pounded Exxon Ed Whitfield for taking money from a terrorist, and then not returning it after he recieved a 23 year sentence for Terrorism. Also, as Heather said at the first of her speech, Republican vandals stole and destroyed many Democratic signs on the road to Fancy Farm. I was the volunteer that caught them, and the following is the recording I made:

While I apolegize for the poor video quality from a moving van, you can clearly see these two idiots with a sign in their hand, and another on the ground where they had uprooted it. We don't know how many of our Ryan for Kentucky signs were stolen, but since we don't take thousands of dollars from convicted terrorists, each one is precious to us. Please, help us offset the loss of our signs, and strike a blow at Republican dirty tricks here:

Altogether, yesterday was a smashing success for our campaign. We recieved many new volunteers, and some much needed donations. Democrats were very impressed with Heather, as many of them were seeing her for the first time.
