"That, in essence, is the McCain campaign's pitch to supporters to join its new online effort, one that combines the features of 'AstroTurf' campaigning with the sort of customer-loyalty programs offered by airlines, hotel chains, restaurants and the occasional daily newspaper."
"People who sign up for McCain's program receive reward points each time they place a favorable comment on one of the listed Web sites (subject to verification by McCain's webmasters). The points can be traded for prizes, such as books autographed by McCain, preferred seating at campaign events, even a ride with the candidate on his bus, known as the Straight Talk Express."
Isn't it really amazing that McCain has to pay his supporters to say nice things about him on the internet? Just think, you could win a McCain autograph or a free stay at one of the various McCain Villas, being a slave/servant to Cindy and her "wrinkled old white-guy" John, even given the honor of changing his "Depends". I think this is the deal with ultra rightwing republicans...they actually like being humiliated and they love being taken advantage of, and shown what dolts they are. They wallow in their idiocy. As Obama stated yesterday, they take pride in the idiocy.
Top prize: you get to kiss his ass.
Now all the GOP has to do is teach McCain how to get on "the" line and use the "internet(s)", and post his own talking points to the blogosphere.... if he even knows what his talking points are on any given day. Just in case McCain doesn't feel enough humiliation at the hands of Paris Hilton, he's now looking to be humiliated all over the internet. Can you imagine the scorn and ridicule that will follow any diary posted by one of the immoral and dishonest McCainiacs to DKOS..we'll take them down, chew them up and then spit them back onto the gutter, where they came from!
