Should Obama take up McCain's offer on town hall meetings?

I understand that when Obama was ahead by 10% he didn't want to shake anything up--if a strategy is winning, don't change it--but now they're tied pretty much. Would it be such a bad idea?

I mean, we all know that, if the debate is on the issues, Obama's going to win. The reason McCain is throwing up this "lipstick on a pig" BS and the like is because he knows that every day not spent discussing the economy is a day he wins and Obama loses. Every day the American people aren't paying attention to how John McCain has no major difference with the President on the economy, jobs, taxes, and the war (he's actually to the right of Bush on taxes and the war) is a day John McCain wins. So why not take him up on the town hall meetings? It would get us back on the issues and I think it would help Obama. What about you?
