No Hard Questions on Palin for McCain

I just watched Face the Nation with Bob Schieffer. One thing was apparent. No questions, absolutely none, on any of tricky issues on Palin. No question about why she was for the bridge to nowhere before she was against it. No question about what she did with money sent for the bridge to nowhere. No question about her hiring a lobbying firm to get earmarks. No question about troopergate. No question about the man she hired who was harassing women and left. No question about book banning.

What that tells me is that with the exception of Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow the media is supporting McCain/Palin and will refuse to ask difficult questions. The questions I list above are for McCain and he deserves to answer them. His judgment selecting Sarah Palin is what should be questioned. Yes Sarah Palin is a liar, but McCain should never have picked a liar.

McCain was asked easy questions by Bob Schieffer, not the difficult ones he should have asked. I expect the same from Charles Gibson when he interviews Palin. This is a travesty of truth. Such a shame that so much of the media is owned by a few large corporations.
