Going To TV, Version 3 With Voiceover

Okay you guys pushed me further. I put together a viral YouTube ad because I was tired of the Republicans trashing the work of community organizers. Community organizers are at the front line in the battle against poverty, in-equality, abuse, and social justice. Church’s open their doors to strangers and support soup kitchens and with shelter. Programs are available across the nation for those losing their houses, in a financial crunch and for those losing jobs. Individuals open their doors and put others lives ahead of theirs to help others achieve the American dream. This is not a Democratic thing, this is not a Republican thing, this is an American thing. To mock the work of dedicated Americans is insulting on so many levels. Many of you read a diary here today which I can no longer find about Chris Matthews and Chuck Todd, yes, even Chuck Todd saying the Democrats have screwed themselves for talking about community organizers. Tweety said that the Republican’s are making it into an Al Sharpton connotation.

IDIOTS, all of them, Yes even Chucky. Here is some educating for all of them, for all of those who don’t have a clue. Many of you saw the original version and many of you saw the Second Version T.V spot and gave great advice. Most of you said it needed a voice over. I went back and worked on this with the help of fellow Kossiacks. Much thanks goes out to the Kossiack from FL who lent her voice and time, but I ended up using the services of a male voice which I felf worked better for the spot. A big thank you to both. Here is the new spot. It goes to show the grassroots is still alive. The idea came from a wonderful diary that was on the Rec List, came to video form through my computer and was enhanced by fellow kossiacks with a desire to help. AWSOME!

Truthandhope.org picked up this idea and will be doing a cable buy in battleground states. Currently they have the non V.O. piece upon their site since I just completed the new version. It should be up on their site shortly. This shows what type of affect the grassroots movement can have. I’m just making viral videos because I feel I need to do something more than what I am already doing. If you would like to support the ad hit up their site and help. Many thanks to the many of you who already did.

Pass the video around. That is what is most important. If you have talent, use it, if you have money to spare – donate, if you are good on the phones – phone bank, canvas, drive people to the polls when early voting opens, go on a registration drive, anything! It’s time for us to mobilize and stop complaining about the biased media and the biased polls.
