Tonight on TDS, Liam Neeson, the star of Taken, discusses his upcoming role as Abraham Lincoln; and on TCR, Jon Meacham, Author, American Lion.

Liam Neeson's got a movie out: Taken, that thing where the ex-CIA agent's kids are kidnapped. Here's my favorite of the RottenTomatoes review snippets:

Just calling this formulaic doesn't cover it. The script should be credited to the computer software template that originated it.

He also had a film at Sundance, Five Minutes of Heaven, which got some good mentions despite a godawful-early showing on inauguration day (he hadn't seen the complete movie before that showing). It's about Irelands' Troubles.

But the TDS website suggests that Neeson will talk about an in-the-works movie about Lincoln, based on the book by Doris Kearns Goodwin and to be filmed by Spielberg. I guess we'll see.

Jon Meacham is probably still selling that Andrew Jackson biography.

He's still a hack.
