Why don't you get your act together. You spent 2 hours today talking about style rather than substance. You told us absolutely nothing about the stimulus plan. What exactly is in this bill, Chris? You cherry picked a few Republicans talking points and then you eagerly and cowardly latched on to the emerging narrative being promoted by your intellectually lazy and inept comrades in the corrupt media. The emerging narrative is this: Obama has lost his way. He is bumbling. Has he lost his mojo. Has he lost his luster. He is confused. I have heard exactly these phrases or variation of for the past couple of days and you all know that when the the lazy, stupid media hears one lazy stupid "expert" say one, all of sudden everybody has to parrot it, copy it, borrow it and try and shout it louder than the last person who said.
Obama did not create this problem. He inherited it. He has inherited more problems than any other President in the history of this country. He set up his Cabinet in record time. He has done a superb job. He has moved swiftly to reverse many of the most egregious acts of the Bush/Cheney administration. He has moved swiftly to get a stimulative bill passed. He has reached out to the other side more than any other President. He has done his part to set a respectful tone in Washington. But as it was in the campaign, so it continues to be. Obama is being held accountable for the sins of others.
Tom Daschle didn't do the right thing so it is a problem for Obama. The Rethuglicans decided to use Taliban inspired tactics to defeat the Bill which was designed to get the country's economy moving and guess what, that is Obama's problem too. It means that he is not strong enough. Oh Lord, 2 weeks and he has already failed. Bear in mind that these are the same people who accused Obama supporters of likening him to the Messiah. Now it turns out that they are ones who expected him to wave a magic wand and get things done. It is as if none of them expected him to stumbling blocks thrown in his path. It is as if he was supposed to get things done yesterday. And in the most sinister twist ever, they are actually using his decency against him. His words are now being used as weapons of mass destruction...against him.
So Chris Matthews engages in this faux intellectual discussionn every evening. Why doesn't he get it, he asks. Why can't he get his message out, he asks. Why does he have to use a teleprompter? Why does he wears shades?
How about this: Why are you such a fucking asshole, Chris Matthews?

Go back for the last ten shows he has had and
count the number of Republicans on his show vs. the number of Democrats. Cris 'pretends' to be on our side, but he's just another Republican shrill. He says a few nice things about Obama, and if you look closely, what you will find is a narcisstic self absorbed intellectual superficial idiot, who blows with the wind.
Cris asks the question to his guest, then he answers the question by continually and rudely talking all over them and not listening to their answers, and then he sits backs and waxes philosophical about the answer that he just gave. It's soooooooooo boring and please remember this: Cris is the worst closet Republican of them all. He always pretends to be this 'tough working class kid from Philly'....bullshit, he's just another entertainment meglo maniac fake journalist. Sure he throws a few bones out to his 'liberal pals' but that is few and far between. What he does best is to spread gossip, lies, rumors and speculation that is more often than not destructive to the Democrats. He's one of these people that could never really make it in politics, so instead he picks everyone apart in a rather subtle but ultimately jealous and viscous manner, you know, with a smile on his face.
