Message to Rural Democrats

Daily Kos is a huge community that I very much enjoy being part of. Kossacks have developed a national reputation and draw the ire of such Conservatives as Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and Rush Limbaugh. The way I see it when you are offending "people" like that, you are definately doing something right.

One thing I did notice during the last election cycle is that a lot of times candidates from rural, or smaller communities when supported by diaries here got little or no play.

Now, the rural areas have had a huge hand in turning some elections red, and in turn defeating a Progressive agenda in this country. With that in mind I joined with one of the finest video bloggers in the nation, Jim Pence in creating a site that will cater specifically to rural candidates, issues, and voters. We very much hope to create a community where folks can come and raise awareness for rural candidates and help them win in some of these areas again.

We invite all Kossacks to come and join us from all over the country to pitch their candidates and issues. Heck, even city-slickers are welcome too!! Come join the discussion with other serious Progressives here:
