Muzikal203 has made it clear that she is not afraid.

But ladies and gentlemen, I AM AFRAID.

I am extremely afraid.

Not for the President's life, but MY life, and the life of MILLIONS across this nation.

I AM AFRAID of my family of four, my Mother my Father, my Sister, who has a somewhat steady income, but does not have health insurance simply because they don't work for a big corporation, continuing to be denied insurance.

I AM AFRAID of insurance corporations being able to CONTINUE to deny health insurance based on my mothers weight, or my sisters depression, or my aspergers syndrome.

I AM AFRAID of insurance never become affordable for my family, who makes less that 40k a year.

I AM AFRAID of the continuation of the norm; that while growing up as children me, and my sister, and millions of children across America were, and continue to be uninsured, simply because their parents make 1k too much to participate in S-CHIP. Despite being unable to afford individual insurance.

I AM AFRAID of people CONTINUING to fall through the cracks of our system and go without insurance for their entire life.

I AM AFRAID of health reform coming too late and not being effective enough to ensure health care for millions of families like my own.

SO unlike Muzikal, I can't say I am not afraid, because the fact is:

I AM VERY, VERY AFRAID.
