Like any President the only real effect he would have on the economy is the power of the bully pulpit to affect people's perceptions. So long as he follows the line of embracing the Fed's exploitative policies and procedures and listening to either side of the political aisle he won't accomplish anything there.

We cannot continue to feed ourselves more of the same inflationary monetary poison that has caused us to be ill and expect it to cure us. The Federal government is tasked with protecting our economic assets by minting currency - bills of credit are refused for good reason - they can be inflated which has the largest negative impact on the last to use them and that is always the working class or the poor. The bankers and their chums get to use the new money before its had a chance to devalue and the working class and poor can only watch as prices rise but their wages lag behind.

I want change but we can't get change by maintaining the system that is harming every single citizen and just adjusting a dial on the machinery of harm.

Frustrated...
