To begin with:
I'm sorry, but I'm beyond understanding the relevance of all these "pootie" and "woozie" and "foofy" and "fluffy" diaries I see here on the DK. I mean, I don't know about you, but I come here in order to gain some insight on politics and social issues and the state of the nation and the world, period. And so if I wanted to read about or look at cute pictures/posts of pets or whatever it is, I could easily find a website that would provide me with that fodder (and there are tons of them, dudes! For real!!!). And honestly, at the end of the day it's disconcerting to know that some good diaries are pushed down because of irrelevant posts such as "Pooties and Woozles and Hoopies and Foofies oh My!" or what have you.
I know it's probably some sort of old-skool DK tradition or something to post diaries about pets, but for heaven's sake, can someone please explain to me WHY? If somebody could please give me a reason as to why these "pootie" diaries are relevant, I would greatly appreciate it. I realize that maybe I'm just missing something in the DK culture, since I'm relatively new here, and will be the first to admit that there are times when I don't understand this place at all.

WTF with the Rush crap, yo. I mean Rush is just a toadstool, you know? He grows to the extent in which he is fed shit, or fed any attention whatsoever. I seriously can't believe it when even uber-smart genius people--like Obama--give that floating turd one single millisecond of attention. He's nothing! Nothing! He has no brains, he has no wit, all he has is a filthy mouth that needs to be washed out with some Grade-A prime Obama Soap, 100% pure.
R-word only lives for attention, so why are we giving him the attention that we do? How in the world did we elevate him to the level of discourse with our President, who is far and away above the small mean pathetic doggie-doo on the White House lawn that R-word is?
Item Number 3:
The Dark Knight rocked. Who likes Ledger for the Oscar? I say maybe, but I think the Academy nominated him b/c he didn't get the Oscar for Brokeback, and b/c he died. Personally I think he should get it, because in my opinion he was the best thing about TDK, and he's also my favorite.
