The Republican Plan for the Next 4 Years: Destroy the Country....

It is becoming more apparent with every passing day, that the Republican party, sulking and licking its wounds from the last election, has decided that their only hope of ever regaining power is to cripple Obama, his administration and the Democratic majority congress. By throwing every conceivable obstacle in the way of the Democrats, they intend to simultaneously prevent any form of economic recovery and damage any efforts to organize international cooperation against terrorism.

"But", you ask in total disbelief, "wouldn't that just succeed in hurting their fellow citizens?" Yes, indeedy. Now ask me if they care.

The plan is so puerile that it defies understanding. Ultimately, if they succeed, they hope to be able to point to the burning remnants of the American economy and raging wars and terrorism around the globe and say, "See. We told you so". "Better put us back in the driver's seat".

I know. I know. You think that they can't possibly believe that Americans are that dumb not to notice what they did. Uh, yes they do. Remember some guy named George W. Bush. They figure if we swallowed his bull shit for eight years we are that dumb.

If you doubt that this is what the Republicans intend to do, just watch every time one of them pops up to challenge, counter, rebut, or dismiss any new proposal or announcement from the new administration. Oh, and the giveaway, when they do their news interviews, that smarmy little shit, Eric Cantor (R, VA) is always peeking from behind with that smirk on his face. He's the next best thing they have right now to Sarah Palin.
