Why the Traditional Media are Whores...Chapter 47....

Having spent the previous eight years drinking the Bush KoolAid, wagging their little butts every time Bush & Co, gave them a pat on the head, and generally acting as stenographers for the most criminally corrupt administration in U.S. history, the kool kidz who call themselves the "TM's" (traditional media) are collectively having the vapors over the recent screw-ups by the Obama administration.

Are you fucking kidding me?

Exactly two weeks to the day that Obama took office, the TM's have decided that his presidency is a disaster. During the presidential campaign, half of them were praising him as the Second Coming while the other half were excoriating his rock star celebrity. Both were pure bullshit. It depended on whom they worked for and who their audience was. It reminds me of the old joke about the randy old rich guy at an elegant dinner party who turns to the ravishing young thing seated next to him and asks if she'd sleep with him for $100,000. "Of course", she cooed. He then asks if she'd sleep with him for $100. "What do you take me for", she responds indignantly. "I already know what you are. Now we're just haggling over price."

In other words, they are all whores. Some just get paid more than others. But they all perform the same service. They have no scruples, no morals, no sense of responsibility, not a clue as to what being a "journalist" means. It's all about the ratings and the ad revenues.

At a moment in history when the nation's economy is hanging by a thread, when millions are losing their jobs and homes, when tens of thousands of families are subsisting on $176 maximum allowance per month in food stamps, the TM's are crawling all over each other to be the first to break the news that Obama is a failure. Maybe they feel the same way about Obama as Fatwad Limbaugh does. They want him to fail. Just imagine the ratings!

Did Team Obama screw up. Yes indeed. Did Obama take personal responsibility for it. Yes, he did. Howsabout you TM's googling "Bush admits mistakes, takes responsibility" and see how many hits you get.
