I know, I know. It's just another example of this bombastic blowhard tossing verbal rat turds at any and all things Democratic. But just like the little weasel he help get elected governor of Texas and then president of the United States, the very sight or sound of Rove sparks some visceral repulsion somewhere deep within the reptilian part of my brain. Maybe he reminds me of the schoolyard bully who had the ability to charm and disarm his teachers while at the same time terrorize and abuse his classmates. If pressed to define him in one word, I would have to say "duplicitous".
There does not seem to be a single honest bone in his body. His inability to speak the truth is pathological. During the Second World War, a group of psychologists and psychiatrists were assembled to create a psychological profile of Adolf Hitler. The thinking being that if they could figure out what made him tick, they could be better prepared to anticipate his actions and intentions. I think were such an analysis done on Rove, it would be twice as long and probably less revealing. Over the many years that he has been plying his "craft", Rove has never allowed one moment of regret nor acceptance of responsibility for his lies and deceptions. And the reason is probably because he truly deeply believes that he has done nothing wrong...ever. In his world, the truth is what he says it is.
The old terms for someone like Rove used to be "psychopath" or "sociopath". The more accepted term is "Antisocial Personality Disorder". And what are some of the signs and symptoms of this disease?
Someone with APD is basically someone with no care for human life. Symptoms include :

We can only hope that he's got that last one under control.
