Despite two big rallies in two days and growing pressure from his own base, Mark Sanford is still refusing $700 million in federal stimulus money.

With thousands of teachers and hundreds of prison guards likely to join the 11% of South Carolinians already unemployed, Indigo Journal is joining with some friends to create a visual image of where Mark Sanford's inaction and failed leadership is taking us.

Join us for a "tent city protest" outside Sanford’s taxpayer funded mansion on April 7. We'll gather at Finlay Park from 10 a.m. to midnight.
