All over this country working Americans get up and take time out of their lives daily to make greedy, rich, un-American Corporations billions of dollars. Despite all of this what is the first things these folks do to show their appreciation??
At every turn, and in every possible way Corporate America constantly seeks to steal away rights of workers. Their greed causes them to constantly search for ways to cheat American workers out of the fair wages and benefits they have earned.
What do these corporate entities consider patriotism?? Outsourcing jobs to exploit virtual slave labor which even includes children to keep from having to pay a fair wage in America. Denying Health coverage to millions of Americans, blocking single-payer and even a public option because the greed-meisters in the Insurance industry put profit before people and want to make all the decisions to preserve their precious bottom lines on the backs of American workers, the sick, and even children.
I would like to say on this Independence Day that none of these profits would have been possible without the labors of the American worker. They, not greedy Corporations and politicians are what have made this country great. They have built this country from the ground up, and when needed have gone abroad to fight for and preserve freedom all over the world.
What we need now in this country more than ever is another Revolution. Instead of tyrrany, this time we are fighting against the greed and idiocy that would destroy this country, and has already wrecked our economy. It is time for the average working American to realize they are looked upon with scorn and indifference not only on Wall St. but in Washington.
It is time we began this peaceful revolt and let these people know that we are serious. We want Healthcare that is fair, and we want worker's rights restored with the Employee Free Choice Act no matter how much profit it takes from the greediest and least patriotic among us who will destroy this country at a whim to feed their own greedy narrow-mindedness.
Now more than every in this country we need a new Declaration of Independence, this time from Corporate greed and cowardice and idiocy from Corporate-controlled Washington D.C.
